About The Event

Compton Traditional Bowhunters Rendezvous 2018 dates are set.

Shoot 4 3-D courses as many times as you like from Thursday to Sunday for one price, and kids shoot free. Day passes available.

Our Friday night speaker features Jerry Gowins, a legendary bowhunter and photographer, who will share stories and tips for both. Our Saturday night keynote speaker is another bowhunting legend, Nathan Andersohn, who just became the first person to complete the Super Slam with a longbow.

The Rendezvous is a family friendly event where the kids shoot free. In addition, all the kids can sign up for our free Youth Program Events where they will learn some outdoor skills, get to shoot their bows, and take home a free t-shirt.

The aerial targets are always a hit, and we'll have a bow skirmish and other novelty shooting events in addition to the 3-D courses.

Saturday night activities will include card raffles, a live auction with a ton of great bows, gear, and hunts, and we'll pull the winner of the Dream Raffle.

There are well over 50 traditional archery vendors on hand set up and selling their gear, and if can't find it here, you don't need it.

Food, drinks, and ice are always for sale from the Sportsman Club Concession, fire wood is sold on site, in addition to primitive showers and port-a-potties (some air conditioned.)

Bucket raffles, door prizes, blanket trade, great food, camping, music, and arrow flinging To quote a friend, "It simply doesn't get any better than this."
